Let's face it, summer is an inspiring season, especially for our senses. It allows us to get out more and discover all the beauty that surrounds us, through our eyes, of course, but also through our nose.
Since moving to the Eastern Townships, my pace of life has slowed and I'm so much more in touch with nature. I enjoy peaceful walks in the region's many parks and mountains. Through these walks, my spirit is carried away by the scent of wild flowers, fields and warm sunrays. It's these moments of peace and pure joy that inspired my summer collection. First of all, you don't have to go far. The first scent is the one found in all our gardens, the fresh, green scent of tomato leaves. It's a very surprising soap to discover, my favorite in fact! I love it so much that we've also made it into a candle. As for our Meadow Thistle soap, it's aromatic, with notes of a warm breeze in a wildflower meadow. Although it has no coloring, it magically turns purple. Finally, the early-season berries, blended with the botanical fragrance, offer an exquisite olfactory dessert called Elderberry Nectar.
However, it was an unforgettable romantic trip a few years ago that inspired the Souvenir d'Italie box set. A trip that will remain engraved in our memories and hearts, so much so that we wanted to share it with you. We met friendly people, tasted exquisite food and smelled fresh aromas. You can find all this experience in our Limoncello, Littoral and Abricot soaps. Close your eyes, inhale deeply and you'll suddenly be transported along the coast to smell the freshness of the sea, to Rome or Sorrento, to breathe in the scent of lemons growing freely in the trees in the middle of the city, in southern Italy, with their juicy, delicious apricots! And let's not forget the delectable tiramisus, even if we haven't dared to make a soap out of it. Not yet. ;)
I hope I've conjured up some wonderful images of your own activities and travels abroad. Otherwise, I'm delighted to have shared these moments with you and to have taken you on a trip down memory lane, without leaving the comfort of your own home. I can't wait for the next discovery!
